How much of history do we really see as it perpetually passes us by? Imperfect History is an interactive video installment that examines how we perceive and remember historical events in our own lives. With the viewer controlling video playback speed as their attention shifts throughout the space, a chronological video plays at an imperceptible speed until they stop to look at it. Only then, as the video slows to real time, does history become observable.
This interactive cinema project has already been an official selection at First Look Interactive. Currently, we are working on converting this to a larger format so this interactive cinema installment can play in galleries, museums, etc.
